COURT USE:

  • Court usage is on a first-come, first-first serve basis.  Courts should be surrendered on the hour in the event all courts are utilized and other players are waiting.
  • Only tennis and pickle ball may be played on the courts.  Bicycles, roller-blades, skateboards and all other sports are prohibited.
  • Please wear smooth bottomed tennis shoes.  No black soles.
  • Courts may not be used to spectate/watch swim team meets.

KEEPING THE COURTS CLEAN, SAFE AND MAINTAINED:

  • Please take all your trash with you when you leave.
  • Glassware and food is not permitted on the courts.
  • Alcohol is permitted in non-glass containers only.
  • Outside tables, chairs and shades should not be placed directly on court surface.
  • No sitting, leaning, pulling or otherwise disturbing the nets.
  • Keep the gates closed and locked at all times. Don’t prop the doors open, jam rocks or anything else in the locks.
  • Be conscientious when entering and exiting the courts to limit disturbing other players.  Please wait until there is a break in play before crossing a court that is in use.
  • Be conscientious when playing music.
  • No snow shoveling or removing ice from the courts as this can damage the courts including the lines.
  • Use the squeegee to remove excess water.
  • Pets are not permitted on the courts.

EXCEPTIONS: Occasionally, the Park District will hold a tournament in association with a sponsored picnic and all courts may be reserved for a short period.  Members can expect an email detailing these times to be distributed at least 48 hours in advance of the event.

VIOLATIONS:  Violations of the District’s Rules and Regulations may result in suspension or revocation of a person’s membership and authorization to use the District’s facilities.
